How To Enter

Follow the checklist below, ensuring you have done every step. Scroll down to see more info on each step.

  1. Decide if you are applying for the Beginner or Intermediate subdivision
  2. Make sure you are eligible to enter your chosen division
  3. Read the guidelines for your video submission
  4. Pay the $30 application fee (instructions on form)
  5. Submit the form linked below

Beginner Category Intermediate Category Rules Video Requirements Judging Criteria

Rules

  • Age: Competitor must be 18 years or older to enter Pole Expressions.
  • Location: Competitors must reside and train in Queensland.
  • Performance time: Maximum performance time for all routines is 2 minutes 30 seconds.
  • Pole configuration: Stage right static, stage left spin (Diagram link above)
  • Specifics: Competitors must abide by the guidelines of their category (Beginner or Intermediate)
    • Competitors must only enter the category that you are eligible for
    • Competitors cannot perform moves that are prohibited by your category
    • Refer to the category pages for details
