Events like Pole Expressions do not happen without Volunteers!
If you would like to volunteer your services please have a look at what you would like to do and
see the commitment required.
Why volunteer?? It is a great chance to get a feel for a competition without the pressure of being the one who is judged on stage. You also get to mix, mingle and give back to other fabulous people in the pole dance community. We are a pretty awesome bunch!!

Volunteer FormAvailable Roles
Set-up Helpers
Be available at SunPAC theatre from 10.00am Friday 19th of April to help qualified crew to put up rigging and flooring. Two strong bodies required
Competitor Assistant
Be available from the start of rehearsals to completion of competition. Help keep competitors in the know and ready at the side of stage when required
Back Stage Manager
Be available from the start of rehearsals to completion of competition (approx 2.30pm to 10.00pm). Organise prop placement for competitors, co-ordinate Pole Cleaners and liaise with Stage Manager
Pole Cleaners
Be available at venue 30 minutes prior to the start of competition until the completion of competition. Main role is cleaning the poles and stage area between competitors. Suggested for intermediate level polers who are comfortable climbing a pole up to 20 times. Co-ordinated by the Back Stage Manager
Social Media Co-ordinator
Be available at venue 30 minutes prior to the start of competition until the completion of competition to provide live updates on Facebook and Instagram
Runner / Gopher
Be available competition day to assist with odd jobs. Odd jobs may include transporting guest judges and other Pole Expressions staff to and from the competition venue, so a car is advantageous for this role.
