Rules

Pole Expressions Crews is open to all pole dancers nationally!

Pole Expressions Crews will have 2 poles (Entrants can choose their pole configuration – one spin, one static, both spin or both static). Poles are approximately 3.2m high – 40mm brass x-poles, spaced approximately 3.3m apart. Dance flooring will surround the poles with approximate dimensions 8m x 5.5m. Finalists are able to use the entire stage for their performance and are not limited to the dance flooring space, please be aware of surface change.

A maximum of 4 people can be on the poles at one time, with a maximum of 3 people on one pole at any time. All participants must utilise the pole during the performance for a pole trick. All participants must be visible on stage within the first 30 seconds of the routine and remain on stage as part of the performance for the entire routine (aka – “human props” are not permitted as everyone is involved in the entire routine).

Divisions may be separated into amateur, semi-pro and professional depending upon the number of entries received. The group will be ranked as a whole based on the classification of the highest individual, as per the Australian Pole Comp Guidelines. This classification is unique to Pole Expressions Crews.

Pole Expressions Crews is a social competition and placing will not affect your eligibility for graded competitions.
